A significant in depth piece of research identifying the expenditure and tender cycle for public sector expenditure in statutory and discretionary schemes across the UK together with an analysis of the major suppliers. The research was a strategic piece setting out the current situation, likely cultural, policy, legislative and regulatory changes and horizon scanning to identify the systems, processes and service features that will need to be in place to meet the likely needs. The research was carried out for an organisation that already undertakes a significant amount of business in this segment albeit not in the UK and was to be used to validate their business plan to launch in the UK.
